Jaipur Marble

Jaipur Marble is tucked away at Plot No. 24-A in the T.S. Navlakha area. We are right near the Tol Kanta in Loha Mandi, which is always a very busy part of town with all the heavy trucks moving in and out. Being near the weighbridge means there is a constant stream of traffic and engine noise, but it works for a business like ours. We deal with marble slabs all day long. They arrive on big lorries and we have to be really careful when we are unloading them so nothing cracks or chips. Our space is mostly taken up by the stone itself. It is a heavy, slow process to move these things around using the equipment we have. We do not have any fancy sales tactics or a slick presentation. People usually come in knowing roughly what they want, and we just show them what we have got on the floor at that moment. The office is just a small corner where we keep the books and take a break when it gets too hot outside. We have been in Loha Mandi for years, so we are used to the dust and the industrial feel of the neighborhood. It is not a glamorous job, but we like the routine of it. Every slab is a bit different, which keeps things interesting. We just stay focused on getting the orders ready and making sure everything is correct.
