Hari Om Marbel

If you are looking for Hari Om Marbel, you just have to find the Mangla Devi Mandir on Shinana Road. We are right near the temple. It’s a good spot because most people around here know exactly where it is. The traffic on Shinana Road can be a bit much during the festival times, but otherwise, it’s just the usual trucks and bikes passing by. We keep a lot of marble slabs stacked up here. It takes a lot of muscle to move them without cracking anything. The sun hits the front of the yard pretty hard in the morning. We spend a lot of time cleaning the dust off the pieces so people can actually see the color of the stone. Sometimes the temple music is playing while we work, which is nice. We aren't a big corporate chain or anything like that. It’s just us here, making sure the stone is ready for whoever needs it. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, and other days we can't keep up with the loading. The trucks have to back in carefully because the road isn't that wide. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes. We have been in this spot for a bit now and most of the locals know where to find us if they are doing some work on their floors. It’s hard work, but the stone looks good once it is all cleaned up for a customer.
