Earthen Oven Restaurant

Earthen Oven Restaurant is part of the Fortune Landmark Hotel in Vijay Nagar, Indore. We are located in Scheme No 54, which is right next to the Fortune Garden. Indore is a city that loves its food, and we are right in the middle of a busy area. Even though we are in a hotel, we try to keep things grounded and focused on the cooking. We have an earthen oven which is what we use for most of our dishes. It takes a lot of work to keep the oven at the right temperature, and the kitchen gets very hot because of it. The restaurant overlooks the garden area, which is a bit of a relief from the busy streets of Indore. We have a simple setup inside with wooden tables and chairs that feel a bit more traditional. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do; we just focus on the heat of the oven and the way the food comes out. The staff spends a lot of time preparing the dough and the spices before the guests arrive. It’s a busy place, especially in the evenings when people are out for dinner in Vijay Nagar. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is a nice spot to sit, especially when the weather is clear and you can see the garden through the windows. The staff knows the regulars well and we just keep the kitchen moving.
