Chopstick City

Chopstick City is tucked inside the Sayaji Hotel, which is at H/1, Street No 54 in Vijay Nagar. If you know Indore, you probably know where Meghdoot Garden is, and we are right near there. We focus on Chinese food, and we've been here for a good while now. Being part of the Sayaji Hotel means we get a mix of guests staying at the hotel and locals from the Vijay Nagar area coming in for dinner. The kitchen is always noisy with the sound of pans and chopping, which is how it should be. It’s a comfortable place to sit, not too loud, and we try to make sure everyone gets their food hot and on time. We don't have a huge marketing team or anything like that; we just focus on the cooking. The menu has the usual things you’d expect from a Chinese spot in Indore. People usually come here with their families on the weekends, so it gets pretty lively. We are easy to find if you are in the Meghdoot Garden area. Just come into the hotel and head toward our section. We’ve got a steady team in the back and out front who have been with us for a bit. It’s a simple setup, really, just good food in a familiar part of town that we know well.
