Water Front Restaurant

Water Front Restaurant is right there on the Main Road by Necklace Road. It is quite easy to find since we are sitting right beside Eat Street. If you’ve ever walked along the water in the evening, you know how the wind blows through here. It’s a good spot, but it can be a real headache when the traffic gets backed up on the weekend. I spend most of my shifts making sure the tables are set and the floor is clean. The kitchen stays pretty loud, especially when the orders start piling up around dinner time. We have a lot of people coming in after they’ve spent the day walking around the lake. It gets pretty crowded and the noise levels go up, but that is just how it is in this part of town. I usually stand near the entrance for a bit when it’s slow, just watching the cars go by on the main road. The area has changed a lot over the years, with more places opening up nearby, but we just keep doing our thing. Sometimes the humidity makes everything feel a bit sticky, so we keep the fans going at full speed. It’s not one of those quiet, stiff places where you have to whisper. It’s more of a place where friends come to talk loudly and eat. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the food comes out hot. There’s always someone coming in for a quick bite before heading home.
