Sterling Restaurant

Our restaurant is inside the Hotel Ashoka at Door No 6-1-70. It’s right there in the Lakdi Ka Pool and Khairatabad area. Most people in Hyderabad know the spot because it’s right opposite the bus stop. It’s a very busy area, so there is always a lot of noise and dust outside. We’ve been serving food here for a long time now. It’s not a fancy place where you need to dress up. It’s just a dining room where we serve the things we know how to cook. The kitchen is almost always hot and a bit loud, but that’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We get a lot of people coming off the buses or staying upstairs in the hotel. It is a real mix of local folks and travelers. We have tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don’t spend any money on advertising or fancy signs because people usually just walk in when they are hungry and see the door. Our address is long, but we are basically just in the heart of the junction. We cook every single day, for lunch and for dinner. Sometimes we run out of certain dishes if it's a busy Friday evening. That's just how life is in a kitchen like ours. We have some guys who have been working the ovens for a decade. We are just here to fill stomachs and get through the day.
