Sri Balaji Family Dhaba

Our place is called Sri Balaji Dhaba and it sits right near the Ravi Petrol Pump in Gosha Mahal. It's a simple spot, nothing too special to look at from the outside, but we like it that way. We get a lot of people stopping by when they're getting fuel or just passing through the 500012 area. It’s a family dhaba, so you’ll see kids and grandparents sitting around most evenings. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us working the kitchen and the tables. The fans stay on high because it gets hot. We serve what people like to eat when they are tired and want something heavy. It isn't a place for fancy clothes. Just come as you are. We’ve been in Gosha Mahal long enough to know most of the people on our street. Sometimes the music is a bit loud from the road, but that's life. We try to keep the tables wiped down and the food coming out fast. It's hard work, but we are used to it by now. The petrol pump is the best way to find us if you aren't from around here. We don't do much advertising. People just find us and then they come back. It's just a normal dhaba for normal people. We're here every day doing the same things, making sure nobody leaves with an empty stomach.
