Sneha Foods

Sneha Foods is right in the heart of Begum Bazar. If you have ever been to this part of the city, you know how packed the streets are with people and carts. We are located at 24-6-81, which is quite close to Kashmir House. It is a landmark everyone in the area knows. Our shop is surrounded by other businesses, so there is a constant noise of rickshaws, shouting vendors, and people looking for a bargain on daily goods. We deal with food items, so the space is always full of crates and bags stacked against the walls. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we get a big delivery in from the suppliers. The building is old, like most things in Begum Bazar, with narrow stairs and high ceilings that hold the heat. We start our day early before the sun gets too hot, trying to get the heavy lifting done while there is still some space on the street. By the afternoon, the heat in the market can be quite something. We do not have fancy air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that work overtime. The guys who work here have been with us for years. We know the neighbors and we know the delivery drivers who struggle to park their vehicles in the narrow lanes. It is a chaotic place to work but it is full of life. We just try to get the orders right and keep the stock moving.
