You can find us at 6-89 in Ganganagar, over in the Chintal area. It’s a straightforward spice shop where we focus on the basics. The shelves are lined with jars and bags of different powders and whole spices. We spend a lot of time sourcing what we sell, making sure the quality is what we’d use in our own kitchens. Chintal is a busy place, and Ganganagar has its own local feel that we’ve become a part of over the years. My hands usually have a bit of a yellow tint from the turmeric by the time I close up for the night. We have a small scale on the counter that’s been with us since the beginning. It’s not a high-tech operation; we do a lot of things by hand, including the packaging. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat for a few minutes while they pick up their weekly supplies. We don't have a big fancy storefront with neon lights, just a simple board with the name. The air inside is always heavy with the scent of cloves and cinnamon, which I’ve grown to love. We keep the shop open until late because that’s when most people have time to do their shopping. It’s a modest business, but it keeps us going and lets us serve the people living nearby. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the jars stay full and the shop stays tidy.
