Shahji KA Dhaba

Shahji KA Dhaba is located in the Sukhmani Apartments building at Lakdi Ka Pool. It’s a very busy part of Hyderabad, right near Khairatabad. We are basically adjacent to the Bata showroom, which is how most people recognize our location. The traffic at this junction is pretty much constant, so there is always noise and movement outside. Our place is on the ground level, making it easy for people to just hop in from the street. It’s a dhaba style setup, but inside an apartment complex area, which is a bit different. We have regulars who live upstairs and workers from the nearby offices who come in for a quick lunch. The space is a bit tight, especially during the peak hours, but we make it work. We don't have a lot of staff, so everyone does a bit of everything. You might see the same person serving you and then going back to help in the kitchen. We try to keep the food simple and hot. The Bata showroom next door brings in some foot traffic, and we often see people stopping by after they finish their shopping. It’s a practical spot for a meal when you are stuck in this part of the city. We don't do any big advertising; people just see our sign when they are waiting at the signal and decide to come in.
