Scent Flower School

Scent Flower School is situated in Baba Nagar, over in the Chandrayangutta area. It’s a crowded part of the city, so the school is right in the middle of everything. The streets are narrow, and there’s always something going on outside the front door. The building itself is a few stories high to make the most of the small space we have. We don't have a big field for sports, but we use the courtyard for all our activities. It’s a busy little school. You can hear the teachers’ voices from the street sometimes. We’ve got kids of all ages coming in and out throughout the day. The stairs are a bit steep, so we tell everyone to be careful. Inside, the walls are covered with student work and some old charts. It’s not a polished place, but it’s clean and it works for us. We have a small room that serves as the office where all the records are kept in big folders. Parents often stop by to chat or pay fees, so it can get a bit cramped in the hallway. We’re used to the noise of the city, the horns and the people talking outside. It’s just part of being in Baba Nagar. We focus on the books and the lessons, and the kids seem to do alright despite the hustle and bustle around them. It’s a tight-knit place where everyone knows their neighbor’s business.
