Alpha School Of Music

We’ve been running Alpha School Of Music out of House No 10-1-723 for a good while now. It’s tucked away in Lane No 7, right near Street No 10 in West Marredpally. People around Hyderabad know this part of the neighborhood pretty well. The school isn't some big shiny building, it’s just a place where folks come to learn some tunes. We have rooms set up for different instruments. Most days you’ll hear someone struggling with a guitar chord or trying to get a piano scale right. It gets a bit noisy sometimes, but that’s just how it goes when people are practicing. The teachers here are just regular people who happen to know a lot about music. They sit down with the kids and the adults too. Some of the instruments are a bit old, but they work fine. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the schedule gets a little messy when someone shows up late. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, so you have to look for the sign in West Marredpally. We spend a lot of time just tuning instruments and talking to parents who drop their kids off. There is always music playing in the background, even if it’s just someone practicing in the back room. We don’t have fancy stuff here. Just the basics to get people playing. It feels more like a house because it kind of is. That’s about it for us here in Hyderabad.
