Alanthilak Karate School

We started the karate school in Hyderabad 500016 because there weren't many places around here to just practice. It’s a plain space, nothing fancy. We have some mats on the floor and a few mirrors on the side wall. Classes happen mostly in the evenings when people are done with work or school. We teach the basic kicks and punches. Some kids come in three times a week and they really like running around before we start the actual drills. It gets pretty loud sometimes, especially when everyone is shouting during the katas together. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that hum all the time. Parents usually wait outside on their scooters or stand near the door talking. It’s just a place to learn how to defend yourself and maybe get a bit stronger over time. We’ve been in this part of Hyderabad for a while now. Some students stay for years, others just try it for a month and leave. That's how it goes. We don't push anyone too hard, but we do expect you to show up if you signed up for the month. The uniforms get dirty fast, so we tell everyone to wash them often. It’s basic, hard work, and a lot of sweat in our small hall. We like it that way. The floor gets a bit slippery when it rains outside, so we have to mop it more often. We also have a small cupboard where we keep some extra pads and gear for the sparring sessions.
