Am Music School

Am Music School operates out of the Global Techno School building in Humayun Nagar, Mehdipatnam. It’s an interesting setup because we share space. You can find us in this part of Hyderabad, which is usually buzzing with activity. Since we are a music school, you’ll hear instruments being played throughout the day. It’s not your typical quiet academic environment. We have rooms for different instruments, though they aren't soundproofed perfectly. You might hear a violin in one room and a keyboard in another. It’s a bit of a jumble of sounds, but we like it that way. We don't have a fancy reception area. People just come in and go to their respective practice rooms. The instructors are people who really know their music, and they don't care much for corporate titles. We just use the space we have. The address is easy to get to by bus or rickshaw. We have some old instruments for students to use if they don't have their own. The floors are a bit scuffed from moving chairs and stands around. We don’t put out big ads or use a lot of marketing talk. If someone wants to learn music, they just show up and we see what we can do. It’s a very informal and practical atmosphere. We just focus on the notes and the practice. It’s a small, dedicated community of people who enjoy what they do.
