Our place is at Flat No.420 in the Shanti Garden complex, over in F Block of Nacharam. It is more of a workspace than a showroom really. We have a lot of samples lying around—bits of wood, laminate sheets, and some fabric swatches piled up on the table. Living and working in Nacharam means we see a lot of the same faces around the garden. We spend most of our mornings on the phone with carpenters or checking on where a delivery has reached. It gets a bit cramped when we have too many drawings spread out. We don’t have a big front desk or fancy lights. Usually, someone is just sitting there sketching out a kitchen layout or a wardrobe plan on a piece of paper. The fan stays on all day because the flat can get a bit warm in the summer. Neighbors sometimes knock to ask about a small repair or just to see what we are working on. It’s a quiet block for the most part, which helps when we need to concentrate on measurements. We keep our tools in the corner and sometimes the smell of sawdust lingers if we’ve been making adjustments to a prototype. It is just a regular spot where R K Reddy Interior Solutions works to make people's rooms look okay and fit all their stuff. Nothing too complicated about it. We just do our work here and try to keep things organized.
