Prabhat Udyog

Our workshop, Prabhat Udyog, is situated at 2-3-695 in the Amberpet area. We are very close to the Lalbagh Masjid, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. We do various types of manufacturing here in our shop. It is a noisy place because we have machines running for most of the day. There is always the smell of oil and metal in the air. We are not a fancy company with an HR department. We are just a group of people who know how to make things. The building is quite old and we have had to fix the roof a few times. It’s a hands-on environment. We don't wear suits or sit in air-conditioned offices. We are usually on the floor checking the production and making sure the parts are right. Amberpet is a hardworking neighborhood and we fit right in. We’ve been in this specific spot for many years. Sometimes we have a lot of scrap metal piled up in the corner waiting to be moved out. It’s a bit messy, but that’s what a real workshop looks like. We don't have a salesperson. Usually, people just come by because they heard we do decent work. We just focus on finishing the jobs we have on the bench. It’s a practical way to run a business. We like the fact that we can see what we’ve built at the end of every shift.
