Panchratan Restaurant

Our restaurant is at House No 3-3-44 on Kachiguda Station Road in Hyderabad. We are right across the street from the Venkatramana Theatre. Because of the cinema and the railway station nearby, this area is always full of life and noise. People are constantly walking past our door. The restaurant itself is quite plain. We have some older wooden furniture and basic fans to keep the air moving. We aren't trying to be a fancy destination. We just provide a place for people to sit down and eat. We see a lot of movie-goers coming in after a show, and plenty of travelers who have just arrived by train. The kitchen is always running and it gets pretty hot in there. We don't have a polished staff with uniforms, just a few of us doing everything from cooking to washing the dishes. We buy our rice and vegetables from the local markets every few days. It can be a bit chaotic when a movie ends and everyone wants to eat at the same time. We’ve been in this Kachiguda spot for a long time. We don’t have any mission statements or corporate goals. We just open the doors, cook the food, and clean up at the end of the night. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in a very busy part of Hyderabad. It’s noisy and crowded, but we like it that way. We just do our daily tasks one by one until we are done.
