Nishita College Of Engineering & Technology

Nishita College Of Engineering & Technology is out in Lemoor Village, which is part of the Kandukur Mandal. It’s a bit of a drive from the main parts of Hyderabad. You have to take the Srisailam Road and go past the Fab City area to find us. Because we are in R R District, it’s much quieter than the city. You see a lot more greenery and open fields around here. The road out here is mostly good, but it feels like a long trip every morning for the staff and students. We have several buildings on the campus. It’s a rural setting, so things are a bit slower than in Panjagutta or Hitech City. Sometimes the mobile signal isn't the best because of the location. We have a lot of local students from the nearby villages and some who come all the way from the city on the college buses. The wind blows quite hard across the open ground here. The classrooms are basic but they do the job. We have some labs that stay busy until late afternoon. It’s not a fancy urban campus, just a solid place for learning out in the district. The canteen serves basic food, mostly rice and dal, which is what everyone expects. It feels a bit like being in the countryside while still being part of the larger Hyderabad education scene. We just focus on the daily work of teaching and labs.
