Mayura Restaurant

We are situated on the first floor of Pavani Estates, right at Liberty X Roads in the Liberty area. If you know where the TTD Kalyana Mandapam is, we are located right beside it. Mayura Restaurant has been a part of this busy neighborhood for a good while now. We aren't like those brand new places that have modern furniture and bright neon signs everywhere. Our chairs are a little bit old and the floor has some marks on it from years of use, but the place feels right to us. We serve simple meals to the office workers and the families who live around here. Most of our morning is spent in the kitchen getting everything ready and making sure we have enough rice and vegetables for the lunch crowd. It is a lot of physical work for all of us. I usually stay by the counter to handle the bills and keep an eye on the dining room. Sometimes the lift in the building stops working, so our customers have to use the stairs, and we always feel bad about that. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to take professional photos of our food for the internet. We just depend on people walking in because they are hungry or they saw our sign from the road. It is a very simple life running a kitchen like this. We just focus on getting the food out and keeping the tables clean for the next person.
