Mahidhar Spices

We are based at 4-15-19 on Pragathi Nagar Road, over in the Chenchu Guda area of Kukatpally. This part of town is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. Mahidhar Spices is basically a small workspace where we spend our days. The air inside always has a bit of a scent to it because of what we handle. It's not a polished showroom or anything like that. We have sacks and boxes stacked up, and a couple of old desks where we sit when we aren't moving around. The light in here isn't the best, so we rely on the open door for most of the daytime. Pragathi Nagar Road gets quite a bit of traffic, so there’s always the sound of horns and engines in the background. It’s a bit of a dusty place, but that’s just how it is around here. We’ve been in Kukatpally for a good while now. We know the other shop owners on this stretch and sometimes we share a tea in the afternoon. It’s a hardworking environment. We don't have much time for sitting around. There is always something that needs to be moved or labeled. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of things to do. It’s a simple, basic way to spend the day at Mahidhar Spices. We don't try to make it look like something it's not. We just do the work.
