We've been here on Punjagutta Road for a while now. It's just a small shop in Somajiguda where we keep different kinds of spices. Most people around here know us because we’re right near the main road. We spend most of our mornings getting the stock ready and making sure everything is in the right bins. It gets busy in the afternoons when folks come by after work to pick up what they need for dinner. We don't really do much fancy stuff, just handle the day-to-day work of running the place. Sometimes the smells from the bags are really strong, especially when we open a fresh batch of chili or turmeric. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of all the grinding and packing we do in the back room. My cousin helps out when he can, but usually, it's just a couple of us making sure the customers get what they asked for. We keep the place simple. The shelves are wooden and some look a bit old now, but they hold the weight just fine. Dealing with the suppliers takes up a lot of time too, especially when the trucks arrive early in the morning and we have to haul everything inside. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. If you're walking down the road near Somajiguda, you'll probably smell the pepper before you see the sign for M M Spices. We don't have a website or anything, people just walk in.
