Lavalee Restaurant

Lavalee Restaurant is up on the first floor of the Prashanti Arcade. If you know the Ramanthapur area, we are in that 2-2-58 to 60 block. It’s a decent spot, though being on the first floor means you have to look up a bit to see our sign from the street. We’ve been running this place for a few years now. It’s just a straightforward restaurant where we try to get the food out hot and on time. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to clean up or organize the pantry. We get a lot of locals who live in the apartments around here. It’s not a massive place, but it fits enough tables for the lunch rush. Sometimes the stairs get a bit dusty, or the elevator in the arcade acts up, but we manage. We aren’t one of those big chains with a million rules. We just do things our way. The kitchen staff stays busy, and we usually have some music playing in the background to keep the energy up. Ramanthapur is a busy place, and we are glad to have a small corner of it. We don’t really have a big marketing plan or anything. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. It’s simple, honest work, and we’re okay with that. The street noise from below is always there, but you get used to it after a while.
