Incowax Pvt.Ltd. is over at 401, Surabhi Shopping, right across from the Telephone Exchange. It’s a bit of a funny place for a wax company, being in a shopping area, but it works for us. We’ve been in this unit for years, and it’s packed to the ceiling with samples and documents. We deal with all kinds of industrial waxes, and the office usually has that faint, sweet smell of paraffin or beeswax hanging in the air. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get new stock in, and we all have to help move boxes around to make space. We don’t have a big fancy staff, just a few of us who handle the sales and the shipping. Most of our day is spent on the phone with factories or checking on the status of our containers at the port. It’s not the kind of work that makes for a great story at a party, but it’s steady and we know the business inside out. The area around the Telephone Exchange is always humming with people, so there’s never a dull moment when we look out the window. We’ve got a small kettle in the corner for tea, and that’s basically our break room. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image; we just want to make sure the wax gets to where it needs to go on time. It’s a simple business and we like it that way.
