Ecoicons

If you head over to the second floor of Plot No. 26 in the EC Extension area near Kushaiguda, you will find us. Ecoicons is the name on the door of our office. We are tucked away in the TSIIC industrial layout, which is a bit of a walk from the main ECIL X Roads. We actually like the quiet of this specific area. We focus on things that are better for the environment, but that doesn't mean it’s easy work. It involves a lot of basic science and looking at how products are made. We spend most of our time looking at different items and trying to figure out how to make them more sustainable. There is a lot of trial and error in what we do. Our office isn't anything special to look at—just a few desks, some old computers, and a lot of samples made from recycled materials. We aren't trying to change the entire world overnight; we are just trying to offer better options for the businesses located around here. Sometimes the heat in the industrial area gets to be a bit much, but we keep the fans going and stay focused on the work. It’s a small group of us, so we all know each other’s habits. We don't have an HR department or anyone to handle our PR. We just answer the phones ourselves and take care of the heavy lifting. It’s a very straightforward way to run things.
