S.S. Power Systems

Down at Plot No 6 in the E.C. Extension Industrial Estate, we spend most of our time dealing with power systems. It’s a lot of wiring and heavy components. The ECIL Post area is usually buzzing, and our workshop is no different. We’ve got tools scattered around and benches that have seen better days. It isn’t a place for sitting around. Usually, there’s someone testing a circuit or fixing a connection. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to make us look bigger than we are. We are just a few guys who know how these systems work. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and stay on top of the pile of work. Most of the people who come here are looking for something specific for their own projects. We don't talk much unless it's about the job at hand. The floor is concrete and often has bits of wire or tape lying around. We try to keep it organized, but when things get busy, the mess happens. That’s just the reality of working with hardware at S.S. Power Systems. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and we know the neighbors well. It’s a quiet enough street except for the occasional delivery truck. We just do what we do, day by day, making sure the power stuff is handled correctly without any fuss. It is simple work but it keeps us busy enough.
