Aahaar Sweets Namkeen And Chat is our little shop at Door No 3 6 238/C in Himayatnagar. It is a busy street and there is always something going on outside. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area or behind the counter. We make sweets and salty snacks, and the chat is popular in the evenings. It is not a five-star restaurant. We have some basic seating, but many people just stand or take their food to go. The smell of frying spices is always in the air here. We start early in the morning to get the milk boiling and the dough ready. By the time the afternoon rush starts, we are usually moving pretty fast. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. People just smell the food or see the sign and walk in. Himayatnagar is a great place to be because of all the foot traffic. Sometimes we run out of the popular items before the day is over, which can be frustrating, but we try to gauge it right. We just use the recipes we've always used. It’s simple food for local people. We keep the counters wiped down and the glass cases full. It is just a regular food spot where we work hard to keep things tasting right. Cleaning up at night takes a while, but we have to be ready for the next morning's start.
