Hyderabad Food And Spices

If you walk down the Main Road on the Trunk Road, you’ll find us at number 13/172. It’s a busy area and the noise from the traffic never really stops. We deal with food and spices, so the shop usually smells like a mix of everything. Sometimes it’s a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it, but for us, it’s just the smell of work. We’ve been here for a long time and the building has seen better days, but it serves its purpose. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the bags are stacked and the orders are ready. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually keep the fans running full blast. Customers come in and out, mostly locals who have been buying from us for years. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing where we are and what we do. The floor is often covered in a bit of spice dust, no matter how much we sweep. It’s a simple life. We start early, handle the deliveries, and close up when the street starts to quiet down in the evening. There’s always something to do, whether it’s weighing out portions or checking the stock in the back room. Sometimes the tea stall next door brings us a cup when we are too busy to leave the counter. It’s those small things that make the long days feel a bit shorter.
