We’ve been here at King Koti for a while now, right by the big circle. Most days start pretty early because there is always something to clean or prep before people start showing up for their meals. King Kota Square stays busy, so you hear the traffic and the horns outside all day long while we’re busy in the kitchen. It’s just us running the place, trying to get the food out while it’s hot. The space isn't huge but it fits enough people who want to sit down and take a break from the Hyderabad heat. We see a lot of the same faces every week, mostly folks working nearby or living in the King Koti area. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the lunch rush hits, and we’re all moving fast to keep up with the orders. We don't really do anything fancy here. It is just a regular spot where you can grab a bite and not worry too much about the frills. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we spend most of our time focusing on the cooking instead of the decor. Being at this location means we get to see everything happening on the street, from the morning commuters to the late-evening shoppers heading home. It's a lot of work keeping things going every day, but this is what we do. We just open the doors, get the stoves lit, and wait for the first person to walk in.
