About Global Indian International School, Hyderabad – Education in Hyderabad
If you head out toward Uppal Mandal, you’ll find us at Survey No. 8 and 9 in Peerjadiguda. It’s an area that has changed a lot over the years. The school takes up a good amount of space here. Every morning, the local traffic picks up as everyone heads toward the city. The gates stay shut mostly, except when the kids are coming in or leaving for the day. We have the usual classroom blocks and a bit of open ground for the kids to run around on. It’s not a quiet place once the bells start ringing. You hear teachers talking and the general hum of a few hundred people in one spot. The maintenance crew is usually busy fixing a leak or painting a fence somewhere on the property. We use the address mostly for mail, but people just know the spot in Peerjadiguda. There’s a lot of concrete and brick, just a standard school building really. The sun hits the courtyard pretty hard in the afternoons. We try to keep the fans going. It gets humid in Hyderabad, and you feel it in the hallways. Nothing about the building is particularly flashy. It’s just where the work happens. We see the same faces every day, the same rickshaws waiting outside at three o'clock. It’s a routine that everyone is used to by now. The neighborhood is growing up around us, but the school stays pretty much the same.
