Chocolate Hut

We started Chocolate Hut because we really liked making sweets at home and it just kind of grew from there. Our place is on Road No. 1 in Jubilee Hills, and most people find us because we are so close to the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank. It is not a very big shop, but we have enough room for the kitchen in the back and a small counter up front. Most days, the air smells like melted cocoa and sugar, which is nice but it can get quite hot when the ovens are going. We spend a lot of time just wrapping individual pieces by hand and checking that the fridge is at the right temperature so nothing melts. It’s mostly just a few of us here. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. Sometimes the traffic on the road gets a bit loud, especially in the evenings, but we just keep working through it. We have some regular customers who stop by after work to pick up a box for their families. It is a lot of hard work, especially during the holidays when everyone wants something sweet. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the counter gets messy with ribbons and paper. We just do what we do every day and hope the chocolate turns out okay for whoever is buying it.
