Chocofolks

Chocofolks is located at Plot No. 86 within the Amar Co-Operative Housing Society in Jubilee Hills. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood, which makes for a peaceful place to work. We don't have a big factory or a retail storefront. Instead, we work out of this space that feels a lot more like a large, busy kitchen than an office. There is almost always the smell of melting chocolate in the air, and you can usually find cocoa powder on just about every surface. We spend our days melting, tempering, and molding chocolates by hand. It’s just a small group of us, and we use basic tools to get the job done. The tile floor is a bit worn from all the standing and cleaning we do. We don't have fancy packaging machines, so we end up wrapping and tying ribbons on the boxes ourselves. Most of our orders come from people who live nearby or found us through a friend. We started this right here in Jubilee Hills because it's where we live, and we've just stayed in this same plot as the business has grown. It’s often a bit messy with bowls and spoons everywhere, especially when we are preparing for a holiday or a big order. We don't have any corporate titles or big meetings. We just come in, make the treats, ensure they taste right, and get them ready for our customers.
