You can find Bmh-India over in Mehdipatnam, specifically on the second floor of a building in Padmanabha Nagar Colony. The address is a bit of a mouthful—Plot No 12-2-709/C/207—but it’s easy enough to find once you are in the Rethibowli area. We are a small team working out of this office, mainly focusing on bulk material handling. It’s not a massive industrial plant with chimneys; it’s a regular office where we do the design work and manage the logistics. The neighborhood is mostly residential with some commercial spots mixed in, so it’s a bit quieter than being in the middle of a heavy industrial zone. We have a few desks, some computers, and a lot of technical drawings spread out on the tables. Our work involves figuring out how to move large quantities of materials like coal or grain, which is more about math and physics than anything else. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or a bunch of slogans on the wall. It’s just a practical space where we can focus on our projects. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, just like anywhere else in the city, but we manage. We usually grab some tea from a shop nearby when we need a break. It’s a straightforward way of working, and we like being tucked away in this part of Mehdipatnam where we can just get on with our business.
