Atal Mirch Store

We’ve been running the Atal Mirch Store here at 15-8-134/17 in Satyanarayan Enckve for quite a while now. Most people around here know the spot. It’s not a huge place, but it keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the day. You’ll find us handling different kinds of mirch and spices, mostly just dealing with the stuff that comes in and goes out to the local customers. The smell of the peppers is always in the air, which you get used to after a while, though visitors sometimes sneeze when they first walk in. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stock and making sure everything is where it should be on the shelves. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting bags and weighing things out for people who stop by. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, except when the deliveries arrive and we have to clear some space on the floor. We aren't trying to do anything fancy here. It is just a regular store where we show up, do the work, and talk to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. Some days are faster than others, especially when the weather changes or a festival is coming up. We mostly just focus on what's right in front of us. If you’re walking through Satyanarayan Enckve, you’ll likely see the door open and one of us sitting there near the bags of spice, just waiting for the next person to walk in. It's a simple life but it's ours.
