Aw Music School

Aw Music School is right in the school building over in Kavadiguda. This is the 500080 part of Hyderabad. We focus specifically on music here. This makes the vibe a bit different from a regular academic school. You can often hear someone practicing a violin or a keyboard if you happen to walk by at the right time. The building is older and has a very lived-in feel to it. It isn't one of those modern glass structures. It is just a plain, functional place where people come to learn their notes and instruments. Kavadiguda is a very crowded neighborhood. There isn't space for a garden or a big parking lot. We use every room we have for the various music lessons. Some days are much quieter than others. It depends on the schedule of the students. We have a few benches where parents can sit and wait for their children to finish. The teachers here are just people who love music. They want to pass that on to others in the community. It is a very local spot. People from the nearby streets usually come over after they finish their own work or school. We don't have any flashy marketing posters on the walls. The instruments are the main thing you'll see in the rooms. Sometimes the humidity in Hyderabad makes it a bit hard to keep things in tune. We make do with what we have. It is just a small music school in a busy city. We’ve been here for many years.
