Aum The School Of Art

Down in Aziz Nagar, which is part of the Moinabad area, we have our little art school. It’s a bit of a journey to get out here from the city center, but it’s a lot quieter than the main streets, which helps when you’re trying to focus on drawing or painting. We have tables set up with all sorts of supplies—pencils, charcoal, and various pots of paint. The floors usually have a few stains on them because art is messy work, and we don't worry too much about keeping everything spotless. It feels more like a workshop than a school sometimes. We have big windows to let in the natural light, which is important for seeing colors correctly. Aziz Nagar is a peaceful spot, and we like the slow pace of things here. You won’t find any corporate vibes in our rooms. It’s just a place where people can sit down and work on their craft without being rushed by a clock. We drink a lot of tea and talk about whatever project is on the table that day. Sometimes we have a lot of students, and other times it’s just a few people working quietly in the corner. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who look after the place and help out where we can. It’s a simple life, mostly spent surrounded by paper, canvas, and colors. The drive back into Hyderabad at the end of the day can be long, but it's worth it.
