Asian School Of Media Studies

Our school is based at Plot No 46 in Bagyanagar Colony II, which is part of the Kukatpally neighborhood. We focus on teaching media studies, so our days are filled with talk about cameras, video editing, and how the media industry works. We are not a massive university campus; instead, we have a dedicated space that is set up for practical learning. We have been at this location for a while and have seen many students come through to learn these skills. Kukatpally is a very busy area, which makes it a good spot because it is easy for people to reach us by public transport. Our classrooms are equipped with the kind of tools and gear that students will actually use when they get jobs. We spend a lot of time on hands-on projects because we think that is the best way to learn how to handle equipment. The atmosphere here is usually pretty relaxed and feels more like a creative studio than a strict classroom. You will often see groups of students sitting around discussing their scripts or working on a film project. We do not worry about corporate branding or fancy offices. Our main goal is just to make sure the students get some real experience with the technology. The building is a simple one that fits into the colony nicely. We deal with all the usual daily issues like equipment updates and power interruptions, but we just keep working through it. Most people come to us because they want to learn the actual trade.
