Anglo Sanskrit School Alumni Assoc

Anglo Sanskrit School Alumni Assoc is based at Plot No 1, Street No 9, near the Venkateshwara Swamy Temple in Uppal. This location in Hyderabad is quite easy to find because of the temple landmark. We are a group of former students who use this space to keep in touch and handle association matters. The office is not very big, mostly just some chairs, a desk, and a lot of old files. We spend time looking through old records and trying to update our contact lists. Uppal is a growing part of the city, but Street No 9 still feels like a traditional neighborhood. Sometimes we meet up to discuss small projects or to plan a gathering for the old batch mates. It is a volunteer-driven thing, so someone is usually there in the evenings or on weekends to open the doors. We have photos on the wall from years ago, showing how much the school and the area have changed over the decades. Dealing with the paperwork for the association takes some effort, especially keeping track of everyone who has moved away. We often sit around and talk about the old days while drinking tea from the stall around the corner. It is a quiet place for the most part, except during temple festivals when the whole street gets packed with people. Our focus is just on keeping the connection alive among the old graduates.
