Amrita School Of Arts & Sciences

We are tucked away in the cellar of Sharada Apartments 2. It’s in Rangaraju Lane, just off Road No 1 in Banjara Hills. Being in a cellar means it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which is nice during the Hyderabad summers. It’s not a fancy place. You have to come down the stairs into the apartment building’s lower level to find us. Sharada Apartments has been here for quite some time, and we are just one part of it. Rangaraju Lane is a bit narrower than the main road, so it’s a little quieter, but not much. We have different rooms set up for different subjects. Since it’s a cellar, we rely a lot on the indoor lights. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when everyone is here at once, but we make it work. We have people coming in for all sorts of classes. It’s mostly just a lot of talking and studying. We don’t have big signs outside, so people usually have to look for the apartment name first. We spend our time managing the classes and making sure the space is usable for everyone. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a school, being underground like this, but it’s our home. We just focus on the daily tasks, keeping the place lit and the chairs in rows. It’s a simple, practical way to run things in Banjara Hills at the Amrita School Of Arts & Sciences. We just take it day by day.
