AL-SABA Restaurant

We are located at the Anshu Lodging on Street No. 4 in the Hyderguda-Basheer Bagh area of Hyderabad. Being right beside the HDFC Bank makes us easy to find for anyone in the neighborhood. It’s a busy corner of the city. We get a lot of people who are staying at the lodging coming down to eat, and also folks who work at the bank or nearby offices. The morning starts with us getting the tea ready and starting the main cooking for the day. The kitchen is the heart of our place, and it’s always busy. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations or lighting. The tables are simple and the menu is just what it is. We try to keep things moving because people in Basheer Bagh are usually in a hurry to get back to work. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked with cars, and the noise of the horns comes right inside our doors. We’ve grown used to it. It’s just part of being in this area. We have a small staff and we all do a bit of everything, from serving to cleaning. We aren't trying to be the biggest restaurant in Hyderabad; we just want to be a place people can find when they are around Street No. 4. It’s a lot of hours on our feet, but that is the nature of the business. We like the familiar faces that come in every day for their lunch or dinner.
