Vikas Iron & Steel Co.

We have been over here at P-134-135 on Benaras Road for a while now. Most people know us as Vikas Iron & Steel Co. around Netajigarh. It is a busy spot and we try to keep things moving as much as we can every day. The office is right by the post office area which makes it easy for folks to find us when they need to talk about metal or iron. It is a regular workplace. We handle the heavy stuff, moving iron pieces around and making sure the trucks get loaded right. Some days are loud because of the work, but that is just how it goes with steel. We don't really do fancy things here. If you come by Benaras Road, you’ll see the piles of material out front. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but we stay right here in Netajigarh doing the same thing. It is honest work. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to move the heavy steel, especially when it rains, but we manage. My team has been here for years. We know the machines and the inventory pretty well. If someone calls asking about a specific size of iron, we usually know if we have it without looking too long. It is just a shop where people work hard and try to get home on time. We don't have a big corporate office, just the space here.
