You can find us at No. 129 Belilious Road, specifically Shop No 128. If you know this area, you know it’s all about metal and hardware. It’s a noisy street with trucks loading and unloading constantly. We handle a lot of steel here. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with different types of rods, sheets, and tubes. It is not a clean place, your hands will definitely get dirty if you touch anything. We spend most of our time measuring things out and cutting them to size for customers who come in. Some people want just one piece, others want a whole truckload. We don't really mind either way, we just write it down in the ledger and get to work. It gets really hot in the summer because of all the metal around us, but we have a couple of old fans that keep the air moving a bit. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but the demand for good steel stays about the same. We don’t do anything fancy with advertising. Most people know us because they’ve been coming here for years or their father used to buy from us. We just try to keep the stock ready so nobody has to wait too long. It is a simple operation and we like keeping it that way without too much fuss or extra paperwork. The day usually ends with us sweeping up some metal shavings and locking up the heavy shutters.
