Sree Ganesh Metal Works

Our shop, Sree Ganesh Metal Works, is tucked away at No. 101/A/34 Brindaban Mullick Lane in Kadamtala. It’s a narrow lane and things can get pretty crowded, especially when we have a lot of iron or steel coming in. We’ve been here for years, and the neighbors are all used to the sound of us hammering away or the sparks from the welding. It’s definitely not a clean job. Your hands stay dark from the metal all day long, and the heat from the torch can be a lot in the summer. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales team. Most of our work comes from people just walking in or locals who know we’ve been here forever. We make things like gates, window grills, and sometimes smaller parts for builders. We just try to do a solid job so the stuff lasts. There are only a few of us here, and we’ve worked together for a long time. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just want to make sure the work is decent and the customers are satisfied enough to come back. Sometimes the machines act up or we run out of a certain size of rod, and we have to scramble a bit. That's just how a small metal shop goes. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy and pays the rent.
