Vidya Educational Enterprise

Vidya Educational Enterprise is tucked away on Gobinda Banerjee Lane in Howrah. If you know where Sanghati Club is, we are right nearby. It’s an old part of town with narrow lanes, so it can be a bit of a squeeze if you’re driving a big car. We focus on getting educational materials out to schools and students who need them. I started this because I saw a lot of kids struggling to find the right books and papers in this district. The shop is usually piled high with notebooks and textbooks. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but I know where everything is. My desk is right in the middle of it all. People from the neighborhood often drop in, and we talk about the local news while I look for what they need. Howrah is a busy, noisy place, but our lane stays relatively calm. We don't have a website or anything like that yet. Most people just come by or call my mobile if they need something specific. I do the deliveries myself sometimes on my scooter if it’s not too far. It keeps me busy. The building has been here for a long time, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it's home for the business. We just keep doing our thing, helping out with school stuff whenever we can. It's a steady life and I like the people around here.
