Appex College

Appex College is right here at 9 A, Hardut Rai Chamaria Road in Howrah. If you know this part of the city at all, you know it is always busy and loud with people and cars. We are right in the middle of it all, in the 711101 zip code area. The building is an older one, which is pretty typical for this part of Howrah. People are always walking by on the street outside at all hours of the day. Inside, it’s just a regular college environment. We have classrooms and small offices tucked away wherever they can fit. It isn't a huge campus with parks or trees or anything like that. It’s more of a city college feel, very practical and simple. Most of the students just take the bus or walk here from the nearby neighborhoods. We’ve been at this address for a long while now. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit messy and muddy, but we still open up the doors every morning regardless. We get all kinds of people coming through the doors at 9 A. It is a simple setup really. No one wears suits or anything fancy around here. We just show up and do the work that needs doing. The hallways can be a little narrow, and it definitely gets noisy during the breaks between classes. That is just life on Hardut Rai Chamaria Road. You eventually get used to the sounds of the city.
