West Bengal has a lot of history with education, and we’re just one small part of that. The building itself shows its age in some spots, but that’s because it’s been used well by so many people. Our address in 711101 is usually busy with students coming and going all day. Belilious Road is a pretty active street, so there’s always noise from outside, but you get used to it after a while. We don’t have a marketing team writing stuff for us. We’re just staff and teachers who show up and do the work. The hallways are often crowded between classes, and the library is a bit cramped, but it works. We’ve had generations of families from Howrah come through here. It’s a local place through and through. We don't try to act like we’re some high-end private institution. We’re a college that serves the people living around Belilious Road. Some days the power might flicker or we’ll run out of chalk, but we just get on with things. It’s not always perfect, but it’s real. We try to keep the atmosphere honest.
