Chinmaya Institute Of Nursing College

This nursing college is located at 59/A/20 Tati Para Lane in Shibpura. That is over in Ward No-42 in Howrah, West Bengal 711104. If you know Howrah, you know the streets can be narrow and very busy. Our building is right in the middle of all that daily bustle. We train people who want to go into nursing, so there is always a lot of activity inside. You can hear the sounds of the street from the classrooms, the rickshaws passing by and people talking. It is an honest place. We don't have marble floors or high-tech glass walls. Instead, we have rooms filled with practical equipment and students in their uniforms. The staff spends their time managing schedules and making sure the students have what they need for their clinicals. Shibpura is a working-class area, and our institute fits right in. Sometimes the summer heat in West Bengal gets quite heavy, but the fans keep spinning. We are not trying to be anything we are not. It is just a place for learning a trade that people actually need. We see the same faces every day at the local tea stalls during break time. It is a tight-knit environment where everyone knows the goal is to get through the course and start working in hospitals. There is a small shop nearby where everyone gets their pens and notebooks.
