You can find us at Ganges Garden, over in Phase-2. We are on the ground floor of Block Ga-5, which makes it easy for people to just walk in from the parking area. Shibpur is a busy area, but once you get inside the complex, things quiet down a little bit. The rooms here have high ceilings, and we have a few ceiling fans that click rhythmically when they are on the highest setting. Most of the space is taken up by wooden benches and some whiteboards that have seen better days. There are always some markers lying around, usually missing their caps. The ground floor stays pretty cool even when the sun is hitting the building hard in the afternoon. We have a small area near the entrance where people leave their umbrellas when it’s monsoon season. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and there are some charts pinned up here and there. It feels like a very practical space. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids run past the windows, making a bit of noise, but we are used to it by now. We don't have any big fancy reception area, just a desk near the door where someone usually sits with a notebook. It is a straightforward place for learning and getting through the day's lessons. We like being in this part of Shibpur because it feels like a real community where everyone knows who lives in which block.
