Suswagat Constructions Private Limited is located over at 27/4, Guha Park in Liluah. We’ve been based in Howrah for a bit now and the neighborhood has definitely seen some changes over the years. Our office is a simple place where we keep our records and meet with the guys before heading out to the sites. Doing construction in Howrah means you have to be ready for anything, from narrow lanes to delivery trucks getting stuck. It is a lot of coordination and a fair bit of shouting over the phone to get things moving. We don't have a big corporate setup. It is just us working through the daily grind of building projects. Guha Park is a decent area to work from, and most of our staff lives nearby, which makes things easier in the mornings. We usually start quite early, around seven, to beat the worst of the heat. By midday, it’s usually too hot to do much besides sit under a fan and drink some cold water. We take the work as it comes and try to do a solid job so people don't have to call us back for repairs. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. Liluah has its own pace, and we’ve gotten used to the way things work around here. We just try to keep our heads down and get the bricks laid. That’s the long and short of it for us.
