Engser Ltd.

You can find us at No. 7 Foreshore Road in Shibpur, right where the air feels a bit different because we are so close to the water. Engser Ltd. is based in an area that is mostly industrial and full of trucks and big machinery moving around all the time. Our building is a simple one, and inside it is usually a mix of the smell of oil and the sound of someone working on a machine nearby. We spend a lot of time looking at technical drawings and making sure the parts we are dealing with are the right size for the job. It is dusty work sometimes, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. There is a small area where we sit to do the office work, but mostly we are on our feet moving around the floor. The road outside is always bumpy from all the heavy traffic, so the windows rattle a bit when a big lorry goes past. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that, just a desk and some chairs for whoever stops by. The guys in the back usually have some music playing on a small radio, which helps the long day go by a bit faster. It’s a busy place and there is always something that needs to be greased, checked, or bolted down. We stay until the light starts to fade, then we lock up and head home.
