Sree Padmavathi Iron Pvt. Ltd. is located over at 5/3 M.C. Ghosh Lane. It’s a narrow lane and sometimes it is a bit of a struggle for the bigger trucks to get in and out. We have been at this location for a good while now. Dealing in iron is what we know best. The office is small and usually smells a bit like metal and old paper. We aren't exactly a high-tech company, we still use a lot of traditional ways to keep track of everything. It works for us, so we haven't seen much reason to change it. Our staff is small and we all end up doing a bit of everything. One day you might be handling the accounts and the next you are helping load a van. It keeps the day interesting, I suppose. We don't have a mission statement or any of those things you see on the internet. We just try to be fair and get the iron to where it needs to go. Sometimes we get behind on things when it rains or if someone is out sick, but we always catch up. It is just a regular local business run by regular people. We value the relationships we have with the folks who have been buying from us for years. The neighbors are mostly nice people and we try to keep the noise down during the odd hours.
